Your comments may be used anonymously as testimonials on this website and social media.  If you do not wish to have your comments used, please let me know when you receive your portrait.

Booking Deposit

​

To secure your booking, I ask for a 30% deposit.  This is non-refundable after I have started work on your portrait.

However, if you cancel within 5 days of your order and I haven't started yet, I will be happy to refund the deposit.

Refunds and Cancellations

​

Under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have a 14 day cooling off period during which you can change your mind.  This applies to the Limited Edition Prints in the Print Shop, but not for personalised items such as Portrait commissions.  You are entitled to a refund within 14 days of cancellation.

Approval of finished portrait

​

When I've finished your portrait, I will send you a photo of it.  If there are any minor alterations you would like, I will try to accommodate you.  If after the adjustments you are still not happy with your portrait, you may cancel your order.  At this point the deposit will not be refunded.  All copyright of the portrait will remain with Mary Duffy Portraits.

If you are satisfied with the finished portrait, I will send it to you, framed or unframed as per your order.

Shipping

​

All artwork is carefully packaged before shipping to make sure it arrives in perfect condition.

All portraits and prints have free shipping within Ireland.

Gift Vouchers

​

If you purchase a Gift Voucher it can be redeemed in the usual ordering process.  Gift Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.  They do not have an expiry date and I will always honour them as long as I am working as a portrait artist.
